I have got a problem with the maxcube binding an the communication via mqtt.
While the Thermostat publishes all its changes to the bus the shutter contact seems
to skip this action.
The log file shows all state changes.
Is this a bug / a known issue / a misconfiguration on my side ?

That should normally work. Be aware that it can take up to 2 minutes before changes are communicated to the Cube
Can you share what version you are using, and make a logfile as outlined in the wiki pages with debug level. Than it is bit easier to diagnose what’s going on.

I am using openhab 1.7.1 and tried the maxcube bindings in version 1.7.1 and 1.8.1.
After some weeks of MAX! usage the described Problem is not the only one with MAX!.
MAX Cube Lost all Items, Contact Battery has end of life after 3 weeks. … I think I quit with MAX
and look for an altenative.
Currents Status : thermostat sends events to event log and to mqtt, the contact today after changing the battery shows only one entry in the event log, even in the maxcude software the status changes are not reported in a stable way
