Mi(Xiaomi) Smart home bindings?

It seems it cannot parse the startColor variable.
Please comment out or delete your xiaomigateway:startColor= variable so the default value is used.
BTW how does your xiaomigateway:startColor=XYZ configuration line look like?

Finally I have received the Xiaomi magic cube and I can confirm it works with the latest gateway firmware - it sends its status, events (alerts, flips, free falls etc) and latest 1.x binding seems to be working too :slight_smile:

Please, check the quotes, default.items file looks good, but sitemap file has bad quotes (” instead of ")

sitemap default label="Main Menu" {
	Frame {
		Text item =  RoomTemperature
	}
}

So temperature sensor is working already?

I only want to use Xiaomi Mi with temp-Sensors…

Can you check if battery state is beeing reported?

thank you, now i can read temp and humidity

Yes, you can read temperature and much more. I’ve been using the sensors for six months and I have not seen any battery reports so far. Someone mentioned it’ll report low battery statuses but I can’t confirm this. As soon as someone faces this battery report I’ll update the binding for catching this events too…

This is amazing work, I’m excited to receive mine and start using these bindings.

Have the wifi power switches been sorted yet? If not I’ll happily send through logs once I’m up and running to help you out :wink:

xiaomigateway:key=dmk3gzshltey3ian
xiaomigateway:startColor=1677786880L

thanks for the reply, removed from addon.cfg (xiaomigateway: startColor = 1677786880L). Does not work.

I bought 2 controller to control the touch switch Livolo, working with OH2 fine. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LNEE9tjnHR8

Items

Switch httpsw1 “Livolo SSC SW1” (all) { http=“>[ON:PUT:http://192.168.10.126/control_sw/sw1on] >[OFF:PUT:http://192.168.10.126/control_sw/sw1off] <[http://192.168.10.126/statussw:10:JSONPATH($.switch1)]”}
Switch httpsw2 “Livolo SSC SW2” (all) { http=“>[ON:PUT:http://192.168.10.126/control_sw/sw2on] >[OFF:PUT:http://192.168.10.126/control_sw/sw2off] <[http://192.168.10.126/statussw:10:JSONPATH($.switch2)]”}

It has the ability to customize MQTT

I bought my gateway today (about 25 $ / €)

Can someone provide me a good shop with cheapest price for temperature sensor?

(with shipping to germany)

If i buy directly from xiaomi, they will ship it after the chinese new year holiday. (xiaomi price 8,3 € / 9 $)

On all other shops (bangood, gearbest, aliexpress) it seems, that the sensor is more expensive, about 15 $. I need a lot of sensors, so a cheaper price would be fine.

Can someone explain me, how i can see, if i get the old or the new gateway? Hope i get the new one. But on gearbest they wrote, with rgb led ring and internet radio, so i think itßs the new one?

Native Chinese speaker here. :slight_smile:
Just let me know which page you want to understand. And I can translate it for you.
Also I have a programming-able cc2531 zigbee dongle. And a zigbee sniffer. However I still failed to control it so far…

It seems to be still parsing the 1677786880L value. Have you tried restarting OH1?

Yes, I restarted OH2

does not work, I change on SNAPSHOT5 version, everything works fine. help me please

works, how to set up items to control:
On/Off command
RGB change
brightness change

hi, can you implement the wireless plug?
can i switch ( simulate) the wireless button over openhab?

Thanks

Does anyone know if there is a limitation how many devices can be paired with the Xiaomi Gateway?

IIRC It’s 30 devices

Thanks.
Could I increase this with 2 Gateways?

@Ondrej_Pecta @pboos that might catch your attention regarding Gateway speaker :slight_smile:
It should work with Xiaomi Mi Radio and Xiaomi Gateway.

@mawa I think when you add a second Gateway as a Thing (in openHAB2 context), you should be able to do that.

Yes, this is possible, several gateways can share the same local network…
