Hello,
I’m just getting started with openhab, and trying to connect it to a Milight Ibox2 bridge to control a bunch of LED strips. I’m using the iPaper UI to set it up, and this is on a windows machine. I’ve added the bridge based on IP address (it wouldn’t find it on its own), but am now getting an error saying
Any suggestions?
If you are using the FUTO038, I can recommend that you deal with this binding here:
UPDATE: For all OH3 users please update to minimum of 3.1.0 Milestone 1 and the latest binding is merged and built in from now on.
Just wanted to let other users of Milight globes know that I have completed a new Binding that allows a single opensource Bridge (bridge created by Chris Mullins aka Sidoh) to automatically find and add Milight globes into OpenHab. The first question Openhab users may have is “Why another binding when one already exists?”, The short answer/s to this is the new OPENS…
(you will need to build a DIY IBOX2 with a ESP8266 and a 2,4 GHz tranceiver module)
I think there is a problem with the Binding and the FUTO038 (see here):

Are you sure you are using the most recent binding and not an older one? I use milight too (bulbs though, no strip) and I don’t remember having to edit a milight.cfg file.
My configuration for two channels of RGBW bulbs is as follows:
