- Issue of the topic: I use openhab2.4 and pivccu3 on a raspbi. After a successful installation of thermostat HmIP-eTRV-2 only these channels are available SIGNAL_STRENGTH, LOW_BAT, SET_POINT_TEMPERATURE, LEVEL, VALVE_STATE and ACTUAL_TEMPERATURE. There is no way to select the temperature profile (e.g. for absence). Any suggestions?
I had to search to even know you have a Homematic device.
Hello Bruce,
sorry, I didn’t want to upset you. I thought, one function of the openhab community forum is that people, who already had a similar issue help each other. And people who already use a HmIP-eTRV-2 know what I’m talking about. My mistake. Again: Sorry.
If I manually add a new Item (and its link) for e.g. ACTUAL_PROFILE, it works (without adding a channel to the thing, I don’t even know if this is possible’).
How does the binding decide, which channels are available for a specific thing type?
It’s so simple: Hitting the “show more” button in the things configuration of paper ui shows all available channels.
