The last log you showed us includes a TRACE for a discrete type register read, thereās clearly more modbus Things defined than being shown here. Have you got duplicate Thing names somewhere? I donāt think itās possible to do that without using xxx.things files though.
Where are you looking to decide your Item doesnāt show anything? Is there anything related in your events.log?
What I will do is, I will reinstall openhab on a clean ubuntu server and recreate only one AI. See what is does. There is not much in my current installation. Apart from my Denon receiver. My main goal is to get the PLC working, so I started with this. I will restart the whole install and setup process and let you know.
I will even configure it with xx.things files.
Ok, I got it working now.
I created an item using the follow option, not the default. I used it because I already created an tempsensor item to display the value. Now I used the default option and its working now. I can see te temperature now.
