MQTT config under OH2

I think the problem is what is stored in the database, and that this is not matching up with what is stored in the .cfg file…

I you did a lot of tinkering with mqtt you may be affected by a bug that the wrong config is stored deep down in openHAB. Perform the steps provided here and see what happens:

MQTT connection lost

try the following: 0) switch to root (sudo su) stop the OH2 service (systemctl stop openhab2) move the mqtt.config file to another destination: mv /var/lib/openhab2/config/org/openhab/mqtt.config /root/) make sure that /etc/openhab2/services/mqtt.cfg is correctly configured start the OH2 service (systemctl start openhab2) check logs (openhab & mosquitto)
