Is there a way to link a Homie payload to a RollerShutter item?
My homie item is discovered as a thing of type Number which doesn’t seem to natively map to a RollerShutter item.
Is there a way to get round this?
One way you can do is not using the “Homie” automatic discovery, and simply configure your mqtt things and channels manually. This is my preferred method which allows me to configure it exactly how I want it.
