Nothing shows in the logs (or at least, no errors RE: mysql) If I run MySQL Workbench and connect, I can see items populated in the table, so they must be getting updated.

I thought “restoreOnStartup” was a keyword to, restore on startup? A bit like “everyChange” - which isn’t actually defined as a strategy as such.

Yes. Both are commands, which needn’t (and can’t) be overwritten.
So, if the very items are persisted and then won’t be restored… Strange. I’m out of ideas, sorry.

OMG, I’m a complete dick…

1. I tested defining the individual items in mysql.persist and testing, it actually worked.
2. So… I re-checked my items file… and while I’d defined the group per item, I’d forgotten to define the actual group names…

Hope my @#$% up at least helps someone else out…
