My openhab items?

Setup, Configuration and Use Beginners

created an account on my.opehhab
made the changes to openhab.cfg
created the persist file
Can log in and view my sitemap through web and in iOS app using my.openhab address.
Yet none of the items are showing up in portal

persist file contents:
Strategies {
default = everyChange
}
Items {

  • : strategy = everyChange
    }

Seems that’s all that is required. am I missing a step?

Are there errors in your log?

I have not found any errors in the openhab.log greping for myopenhab. Is there another log i need to be looking for?

That’s it. The only other thing I can think of is are you certain an event on at least one of your persisted Items has occurred?
