Hello
At the moment I have my Raspberry with OpenHab connected via cable to my Router as well as my KNX Gateway (MDT SCN-IP000.03). Everything is configured and is working.
What i want to do is to Connect the Raspberry directly to the Gateway and connect the Pi via Wifi to the Network.
Somehow i cant get it wo work that way. My Linux knowlege is a bit rusty i tried to edit the /etc/dhcpcd.conf to give eth0 a static IP.
Basically i added this:
interface eth0
static ip_address=xxx.xxx.xxx/24
But every time i try that the Pi refuses to connect to the Wifi… If i remove those lines it connects again. Could some point me in the right direction?
Also feedback whether or not my undertaking makes any sense to you is welcome 
I just wanted the KNX Gateway out of my general network…
