New house with Only Zwave components xperiencing slowness

Hello, I have just moved into a new house with about 30 zwave nodes
14x HEATIT Dimmer
12x HEATIT Thermostat 3

I feel there is a lot of uneccecary jabbering in the logs, meybe causing the slowness i am xperiencing
I can see it looks like the heatit components is sending decimals, i need no decimals (volt, watt, temp etc)

I cant seem to get it right when configuring zwave nodes to stop babbeling too much, any tips?

Nope. That’s not enough logging to disturb OH.
If you experience slowness that’s likely due to your zwave network.
Heal it once then disable nightly heal (property of the zwave controller thing).

Read up on logging settings in the docs and your device settings. If those lines were from openhab.log your devices send too much information (state changes are logged in events.log too anyway).

To reduce traffic you need to tune your things settings one by one. Search for configuration parameters that increase the thresholds before a thing sends information. Most devices I’ve seen offer settings for that.
I see entries in your logs where a temperature difference of only 0.03 °C is sent. If possible, set a threshold of 0.5 °C or something more to your liking. Accordingly for your other meterings.
To reduce log file growth you may want to change the log level from INFO to WARNING or even ERROR, if that fits your needs.

My network map, with nightly healing at 2AM

Does this look ok? I have used OH since the beginning and had a pause for 2 years (skills/understanding of OH forgotten) Wonder if I need to bite the apple and go Athom Homey, (smarthouse for dummies)

It says any node can reach any other… but that’s way too much red and you have problems so “no”.
Use your ZWave controller manufacturer’s tool to rebuild/heal your nodes.
(BTW that is a ZWave thing and has got nothing to do with OH or Homey or whatever smart home controller software)

i have an https://z-wave.me/products/uzb/

either i find a way complicated software, or i find somthing that does not work.

Does need to be (Zwave Pc controller 5?) i cant seem to find a heal option.

Install Z-Way from the zwave.me site. It has a menu called “reorganize network” or similar.

This Zway.me service? (browser interface) yeah ive tried it, error configuring everything (cant get zwave dongle connected)

You need a license.

Yay! i got zway to start functioning, IF i now get a good network. Should I disable network heal in OH?

Yes. Reorganize in ZWay, and take a controller backup there, too. Then stop ZWay, start OH and disable network heal there.

Is the OH implimentation of HEAL not as good? hmmm

Thank you! LOVE YOU!

Well I’ve found Z-Way to work better for this purpose. And you need it for the backup anyway.

You’re welcome. But keep Corona distance, please
