New to openHAB: attempting to add Leviton VRCS4-M0Z

I’m looking at switching from Vera to OpenHAB (I started to switch a couple of years back, but got side-tracked). :slightly_smiling_face:

I’m trying to add a Leviton VRCS4-M0Z (I believe this is similar to the VRCS2-MRX) – it’s a 4 button remote scene controller. It’s not in the z-wave database, so I need to figure out how to get it added. I’ve created an account on Chris’ website and opened a ticket to get access.

When researching this, I found this post in which someone was trying to do the same thing - but they had the same problem I am having, there isn’t a node file for this device.

I’m not familiar with the device, but it looks like a mains device, so it should initialise quickly, and then generate the XML file in the {userdata}/zwave folder. If it’s not doing this we need to work out why and you should get a debug log to see what is happening.

I reset everything (I think :). And reran the search while setting the device in bind mode. Here’s the zwave debug log.

Yes, I had the original post to try to set this up. I can try hooking up this switch again, but I didn’t have much luck the first time and used a single scene accessory switch.
