I just hooked up a new Nexa AN-196 dual switch device. Upon detection the device is discovered but comes up as unknown. Anyone that knows is this device is on its way in to the database? Or what I can do to help geting it into the database?
It can be if you add it to our community maintained database

But out of curiosity all searches i only found links in the forum to the cd-jackson DB and most links not working. So this OpenSmartHouse is the new one or is they parallell in some way?
Seeing who replied when i registered kinda of solved my question. 
The cdjackson site was hosted at the developer’s home. This is the new site for it. After we moved, the hardware for cdjackson died.
The hardware used to host the cd-jackson site, and the fact hat it was replaced isn’t really the issue - the database site was moved, and the cd-jackson site restored, but I changed the cd-jackson site to a more personally focussed site. Hopefully nearly all the links in openHAB docs should have been updated - we obviously can’t control what Google might show up
