Hi All,
Yesterday I upgraded to the latest 2.2 release of OpenHab. It’s working fine. PaperUI, sensors, all is working. But today I want to play around a little bit and I figured out that there is no “log” command in the Karaf console anymore. After the login I get:
[alarm@alarmpi ~]$ ssh openhab@127.0.0.1 -p 8101

Do i miss something? The file logger is working but it’s not really useful for some live debugging.
Before the upgrade I used the snapshot 1083 of openhab 2.2 and logging was working fine. But then I just replaced the snapshot package by the 2.2 release package. I’m using Arch Linux on a Raspberry Pi 3 and I build the install packages by myself. Maybe a clean install is needed?
Hmm… Hi @lgt - I have 2.2.0-1 and I do have log commands in my console (Altho admittedly it did take me ages to get onto the console).
In some of the snapshots though I had similar issues. But in the release, the logs in the console is one thing that does work for me.

The inconsistency does worry me. I've got issues that others don't have (users.properties being missing initially) and continual errors from the REST interface about Jersey (Whoever the heck that is) not being ready...
Not until now. I’m using Arch Linux and I’m just upgraded the 2.2 snapshot package with the 2.2 release package. I think I should do a clean install after the holidays.
