Hello all,
I have a clean install of openHAB 3 on a PI4. I have installed the shelly binding as I own several Shelly1 and ShellyPlugS devices. For an unknown reason only 3 out of 4 ShellyPlugS devices are being autodiscovered. I was able to manually add the missing device by entering its IP address.
I added the thing as an equipment to the semantic model and added a measure on the power channel. Today, (one day later) I noticed that this thing is not appearing in the things list. however, I can get to the item via the semantic model or the items list and even see the power usase graph when I click “analyze”. So the thing seems to be interacting with openHAB3 as expected, but it is just not listed. The only solution I could think of was to clear the cache and restart openHAB. This had no effect. I use VSC, but only for my rules, not for bindings, items and things.
It may be worth mentioning that I I had to manually add one of the shelly1 devices, too, but those are all showing in the things list. I also have the denon-marantz binding and the astro binding installed and with those bindings I keep having “new things” in my inbox for my receiver and the sun, Although those were already added as things 2 weeks ago. So in those cases I would say that autodiscovery is overperforming…
What can I try to do get the complete list of items displayed in OpenHAB3? this is not only a cosmetic problem as I cannot edit my thing now…
