OH 4.10 Modbus WARN how to suppress

I get multiple WARNings in the logfile who are explainable (SMA is slow. I sometimes miss a ping) but I want to ignore them.
I tried the following in karaf

log:set ERROR org.openhab.binding.modbus

but that doesn’t help.
I get the following lines in the logfile

2024-01-05 13:23:33.887 [WARN ] [rt.modbus.internal.ModbusManagerImpl] - Try 1 out of 2 failed when executing request (ModbusReadRequestBlueprint [slaveId=3, functionCode=READ_MULTIPLE_REGISTERS, start=30775, length=14, maxTries=2]). Will try again soon. Error was I/O error, so resetting the connection. Error details: net.wimpi.modbus.ModbusIOException I/O exception: SocketTimeoutException Read timed out [operation ID 032bd682-d236-4f1a-9491-5b105817e041]

Try this instead:

log:set ERROR org.openhab.core.io.transport.modbus

Thanks. That is working :smile:
I assume I can also add this to userdata\etc\log4j2.xml to get it active after a reboot

<Logger level="ERROR" name="org.openhab.core.io.transport.modbus"/>

Great! Yes you can also update the file like that. After executing the log:set command it will also add the logger config like that to log4j2.xml.
