OH2 remove manually installed unsupported binding

How does one remove a manually installed “unsupported” binding?

I added the DSC 1.9 jar to /usr/share/openhab2/addons per documentation. I did my testing and wanted to disable the plugin while doing other testing so I removed the jar files and the openhab.cfg from services. OH still loads the binding on launch. I rebooted my machine. Same thing.

It must cache the binding someplace. I can’t find the cache or any post related to this.

I think it gets cached to /var/lib/openhab2/cache. I do know that I have to remove that directory when I upgrade my Docker image to force a reinstall of the bindings to the newer versions.
