Hi OH community,
I’ve got a great OH2.5 setup (with several 2.x only bindings), and I’m wondering if there are any functional benefits to migrating to OH3 right now?
Aside from the obvious benefits such as maintenance, support, new bindings, etc, are there any non-obvious benefits such as performance or anything else?

Yes there are many benefits to migration. Read the release blog post for a summary, but there are many smallish improvements as well, too many to list. Then again performance hasn’t ever been an issue in openHAB so there was no need to change anything substantial about it.
I’d mention that the longer you wait the more work/harder it will be to upgrade. The little changes keep coming release after release meaning the number of changes that you have to deal with and which might break something only increases over time.
