hope to receive support since influxDB failed on a clean OH3.1 installation. It was the very first thing I’ve executed after installation was done and entering config-tool, even before any dashboard settings.

Sure, but I guess you are THE guy behind openhabian, providing and maintaining the included scripts there. And as executing the install routine provided in config tool, I was facing the issue, looking for support.
That would be a temporary workaround that could be provided in openhabian-config.
As influxdb is a third party package it needs to be fixed by the owner of that package and can’t be done by OH maintainers.
