FYI: I just tried MySQL in Docker on my Synology - same results as with mariaDB: loooong logTimes, not all changes get persisted, … still no ERRORs
So after playing around a bit I switched to InfluxDB-persistence. This works flawlessly in a Synology docker container - and as it comes ootb with a timed persistence as a bonus I get active chart points if I use the mouse-over effect on the x-axis.
I guess, there’s no drawback on this persitence, isn’t it? So I’ll go with it.
Before moving to openHAB I used InfluxDB. It’s built for time series data so it’s a good choice.
