OH3 how to blocky this simple thing?

Anything that gets done is fine through volunteer effort. If you are volunteering to figure out a way to hide all abstract concepts from users and still have a a powerful enough environment to be attractive too the very users who are volunteering to contribute to OH, we would welcome the expertise.

IMO, home automation is complex and hard. As long as we need to have a system too normalize literally hundreds of APIs to enable interoperability, users will only every have two choices. 1. Sick with a commercial offering that supports only a few capabilities but does so in a simple and understandable way. 2. Learn some coding and how to work with abstract concepts.

OH it’s never going to achieve 1. 1 shouldn’t even be a goal for OH. Let Google and be Amazon, and Apple (and all the various vendors with their closed systems and separate apps) serve that market. OH couldn’t complete in that market anyway. A rag tag group of volunteers doesn’t stand a chance. But where we can complete is in broadness in capability, which is going to come with some complexity.

tl;dr, is a user can’t handle abstractions like Items and Things, they have no business using OH (unless they are willing to learn of course).
