OH3: JDBC Mysql Persistence failing (com.mysql.jdbc.Driver was not found

I’m running OH3 with the jdbc persistent service installed and connecting to an external MySQL service. I’m using the UI to configure the persistence service, added a correct timezone.

The openhab user logs in the external MySQL service, so that’s good, but nothing happens after that except the mentioned missing mysql.jdbc driver.

any ideas?

thanks, it mentions renaming de jdbc driver, but were is that done?
