My apologies if there is a thread about this… OH3 and ring are confusing me.
I have a new OH3 system and I also have an active ring alarm which is monitored, so I want to retain that. I know amazon hasn’t given us any integration with ring, and the sensors are z-wave, but dont you have to choose then if a sensor is tied to the alarm, or openhab?
Is there any reliable way right now to trigger an event in openhab if a door or window is open without removing the sensor from the alarm? Or would I have to put 2 sensors on my door?
