I was wondering if anyone knew how to use the upb_status channel in the omnilink binding? I have an omnilink switch in a GFI circuit. Something has been tripping this circuit and until I can troubleshoot why this circuit is being tripped, I would like to know if the switch is actually available. I was hoping to see the Thing go inactive when the circuit tripped but that doesnt happen. I was also hoping that trying to turn the switch on or off with the circuit tripped would also throw some type of error, but that didnt happen either.
I also tried getting the status of the switch through the upb_status channel by sending a “GET STATUS” string to the channel, but that doesnt seem to do anything.
Does anyone know if I can somehow tell if the upb switch is active or inactive in the network through this channel or any other channel?
