I wasn’t aware, and frankly a “blog” doesn’t really fit well with how I operate. The reason is that I have so many different “projects” that I can’t remember “deviations”.
What typically happens is that I visit OH from time to time, when it fits my “schedule”, and most likely I’ll discover a new version when I run apt update
. Most likely, it’s a jump of more than one minor version. I then search the net and openhab.org for a changelog, and don’t find anything. And, that’s the end of that - I never know what as changed, and probably will hold off the upgrade until I have a specific reason to, since I don’t know what will break.
I think a changelog would be very helpful, even though I don’t know how large portion of users are accustomed to this “convention”, it’s what I pretty much completely depend on.
I know, and I do, I was just trying to explain that I don’t consider the whole process as that “simple”, and I suspect that it is too much to keep track of for some.
