Hmm. I’m pretty sure I’m on the snapshot release, but i do not have any additional parameter yet. Just update/upgraded a second ago.
In the config of the “range event” channel, should be (next to the offset) a start and endtime.
Do you have the parameters already in paper ui?
Best
Michael
Edit: I missed the new snapshot repository :-/ The last updates might have been pretty $%&/(.
Edit2:
pi@openhab:~ $ cat /etc/apt/sources.list.d/openhab2.list
deb http://openhab.jfrog.io/openhab/openhab-linuxpkg unstable main
still no update recieved

Nope …
… and my manual text file config does not reflect the offset, it justs triggers on the original time.

So i have some doubts it is already in the snapshot?!?

@gerrieg how long after merge does it usually take for a new feature to become part of the snapshot?

normally with the next successful build, see https://openhab.ci.cloudbees.com/job/openHAB-Distribution/
Did you try to delete the Thing and add it again?

After upgrading to snapshot build 837 the new offset and earliest/latest channels are available!
Will start testing …

The offsets are working as expected, but I cannot find the correct syntax for the earliest/latest feature like described in the docs:
http://docs.openhab.org/addons/bindings/astro/readme.html
Earliest/Latest: For each trigger channel and start, end datetime value, you can optionally configure the earliest and latest time of the day.
e.g sun#rise earliest=18:00, latest=20:00
Anybody an idea for a manual text file config???
