Open/Close sensor triggering light switch but why? - please help

HI all,

I’m a noob and using OH2 on a raspi.

My Fibaro door open/close sensor in the garage is turning the Fibaro relay switch on/off every time i open/close the garage door.

I do remember tinkering with the experimental rules engine in PeperUI but i had deleted those rules. I cannot find them in my rules foilder but perhaps somehow they are still stored in a database?

I looked at my logs and i can see the following:

2017-04-27 20:38:21.200 [ItemStateChangedEvent ] - zwave_device_35a53f81_node8_sensor_door changed from CLOSED to OPEN
2017-04-27 20:39:06.857 [ItemStateChangedEvent ] - zwave_device_35a53f81_node9_switch_binary changed from ON to OFF

I tried deleting and re-installing all my sensors (and the Aeon Z-Stick) but to no avail. I also searched the forums and read some documentations in Openhab website but could not find a solution.

Any help would be highly appreciated. Thanks a lot in advance.

As there don’t seem to be any OpenHAB commands involved, you may be looking in the wrong area. I know very little about zwave, but how about association being involved here? (zwave doing its own thing)
