Just came across https://openwb.de/ and thought I share this.
It’s inverter hardware with a builtin Raspi to run a set of Open Source software and reasonably priced.
So completely unlike commercial wallboxes, you can fully modify how it’s working, e.g. to charge your electric vehicle only when there’s excess power generated by the PV solar system on your roof, or to implement any other charging strategy.
Anyone out there who can share experiences ?
