Openhab 2.0, Cloud connector & Notifications

I’ve installed the cloud connector binding with OH1.8, and all seems to be working - I had to remove and re-install the iOS app to get things to work in the app, but now I can access the sitemap remotely.

I’m not sure I’ve understood Notifications correctly. I had assumed that I could use the sendNotification to push to my phone via the openhab app. If so, this doesn’t appear to be working. sendlognotifications is working in that I can see them on myopenhab.org, but I don’t see either the sendNotification messages there, or on my phone - as notifications or under the menu item “Notifications”

Have I mis-understood and actually need to install and use something like push bullet to recieve notifications?

sendNotification should work. I’m not sure what could be the problem. I don’t know if you need to install another action jar in 1.8 to make it work but at least as of OH 2.0 it worked for me.

I’ve updated the title to reflect…

Now I’ve made the jump to OH2, I’m still not receiving notifications to the phone app - I’ve turned them on on the Phone for the app specifically, I see them in myopenhab.org as notifications… removed and re-installed the app etc…
