i have deleted the foldersā¦now what can i doā¦
Delete only the CONTENT, not the folders.
After deleting the content restart openHAB and see if your problems are gone ā¦
Like I said on the other thread.
Simply recreate those folders and restart OH.
mkdir /var/lib/openhab2/cache
mkdir /var/lib/openhab2/tmp
sudo chown openhab:openhab /var/lib/openhab2/cache
sudo chown openhab:openhab /var/lib/openhab2/tmp
sudo systemctl restart openhab2
thanks sir,i did the same, now the openhab is working fine
I struggling with the 2.0 to 2.1 upgrade on a windows 10 machine. im running powershell 5.1, however the very first command fails.
PS > Set-ExecutionPolicy Bypass
PS : Cannot find a process with the name āBypassā. Verify the process name and call the cmdlet again.
At line:1 char:1
+ CategoryInfo : ObjectNotFound: (Bypass:String) [Get-Process], ProcessCommandException
+ FullyQualifiedErrorId : NoProcessFoundForGivenName,Microsoft.PowerShell.Commands.GetProcessCommand
Did you
Execute PowerShell with elevated rights (e.g. by right-clicking the start menu PowerShell entry and selecting āRun as Administratorā)
?
i did - a few times to be sure.
What happend when you type:
Get-ExecutionPolicy
Also check your .Net Framework.
If iām right you need .Net Framework 4.5 or higher for Powershell 5.
guys, you really cant fix stupid.
Maybe iām not being entirely fair on myselfā¦
The instructions say:slight_smile:
allow scripts to execute by running this command (confirm the security prompt):
PS > Set-ExecutionPolicy Bypass
So i copied and pasted that entire line, including 'PS > ā
Now Iāve realised my mistake, its working almost perfectly
All Items gone after update, deleted inside of cache and tmp folder, restarted service, still no items. Only way is to downgrade back to a 2.0 backup.
ThatĀ“s it for 2.1 on my RasPiā¦
Upgrade from 2.0 to 2.1 in openhabian work like a charme.
Thank you for your good work!
The only thing i have:
Channel not found for datapoint problem, hope we find a way to fix it soon.
[ematic.handler.HomematicThingHandler] - Channel not found for datapoint
Thank you to all openhab team
Aleady reported, take a look here: Homematic Binding: "Channel not found for datapoint" errors for definitely existing channels
