Openhab 2 with rfxcom 1 binding! (2 did not work at all)

Just tested rfxcom 1.0 binding on OH2 and it run fine (at least on OS X)

I dont have a rfxcom.cfg? Could this be my issue. Could you post the contents

@pauli_anttila I also think the reason it doesnt show anything in debug is because there is nothing to show. It says rfxcom controller not connected. I am 100% sure debug is enabled, i see it for the switch

Okay @pauli_anttila I really need your help! I gave up on oh1 binding because that didnt connect no matter what i did. I installed a clean oh on win 10 and it auto discovered the bridge and some sensors. The sensors work fine but what i want to do is send commands. Debug is enabled. Please help me, i really want to get this up and running

Those temperature humidity problems should be fixed few days ago, also better reasons for transmitting errors should logged. Could you try latest snapshot from cloudbees (https://openhab.ci.cloudbees.com/job/openHAB-Distribution/)? Change also rfxcom binding log level to trace level to get as much information as possible.

Downloaded the new. Doesnt give errors only when i try to send commands. How do i change it to trace? It isnt documentet? @pauli_anttila

In karaf console, you can set log level by command

log:set TRACE org.openhab.binding.rfxcom

@Oliver_Roed_Scholer Did you get the the V1 binding to work in the end (with openhab2)? I just got it working by adding in the rfxcom.cfg file into services folder, then adding the 1.9 binding into the addon folder.

I also couldn’t get the 2.0 binding to work.

Hey @James_Hiscott . I couldnt get the v1 to work. Could you send a link to the 1.9 binding? think i had the 1.8.3 and also the content of the rfxcom.cfg?

@Oliver_Roed_Scholer, I can agree that there is problem with lightning4 messages.

Additional, there still bug in error messages printing. Your error message should be

Transmitting error: Invalid device id ‘5571921’

I don’t have Lightning4 devices my self, and in fact I have not implemented lightning4 message support. But I will take a look.

Lightning4 message seems to have some fixes and improvements on OH1 binding (committed February). I try to merge them soon.

@Oliver_Roed_Scholer, lightning4 message integration have some problems. Discussion can be found here. Maybe you have some ideas to share as you have lightning4 devices.
