OpenHAB 3 - MainUI Admin login not working

Hi

After a restart I am not longer logged in as Admin when I open the MainUI via http://openhabian:8080.

When I try to login the password does not work … all I get is “Please try again”.

Am I wrong thinking that this is the openhabian with the password that I can change via openHAbian configuration tool > system settings > change passwords > openHAB console ???

No that is a different password.

If you simply delete userdata/jsondb/users.json and also all the related backups in userdata/jsondb/backups (while openHAB is not running) and restart it should offer you to recreate the first admin account.

Thanks from me too. Solved my problem. Be aware that API Keys will need to be recreated
