OpenHAB and REV Ritter iComfort?

In Germany, you can currently get RF controlled dimmers/switches that can be used as a replacement for the standard flush switch installations found in most homes in DE.

http://www.elv.de/rev-icomfort-helligkeitsregler.html (There’s a manual in de/en linked on that page)

I couldn’t find anything about OpenHAB and iComfort, REV or Ritter so far. Does anyone know if that’s just a fancy label for an existing standard that is compatible with OpenHAB, or if it’s actually a custom thing for which we’d need a separate binding?

There also is a LAN gateway.

If you take a look at the tables on the bottom of this page

you will find the differences between the various systems.
And it definitely looks like a protocol which is not - yet - supported by any binding (bidirectional, 868 MHz).

Thank you for the explanation!
