Openhab cloud is detecting duplicate events and saving one event data to mongodb

Hi,

Everytime I turn on/off light from mobile app, openhab is generating two events one from application and another from hardware.

Those two same events are sending to cloud connector but at myopenhab is showing only one event which is correct.

I would like to know how you are avoiding duplicate events everytime we use app to access the items ?

What type of light and what mobile app are you using?

I have connected light bulb to xbee end device. I am using paperui as mobile app for testing purpose, where xbee device is configured and item “Light” is connected to one of the channel.

Thanks! I will let others here comment what’s normal, but I believe some of my devices do this also. Let’s see what others say.
