I have followed the instructions for downloading the files to a windows OS and placed files in C:\openhab. I also downloaded the demo and the openhab desinger. I can get openhab designer to open and chose the c:\openhab\configuration folder and all my files appear in the window. But when I try to edit the openhab config file in openhab desinger, it instead opens in wordpad. I then tried to right-click the config and chose open with in-place editor. I then get an error message “cannot create the in place editor”. The problem says there may be no OLE editor.
Right click and choose “Open with Text Editor”. In this case the file is loaded within the designer.
