Following up on our 4.2 release, we have officially completed our updates to the openHAB iOS app. There are now 2 versions in the Apple app store, “openHAB V1”, which is our legacy application supporting openHAB versions 1.x to 4.x as well as older iOS platforms, and our new “openHAB” app which supports openHAB 3.0 and higher and requires iOS 16 or greater.
Existing users will be prompted to update to the new app which features our enhanced push notification features, Apple Watch support, as well as a number of enhancements coming in the next few months.
We appreciate everyone’s patience over the last year as we have been dealing with issues publishing to the Apple App store. With these issues now behind us, we are very much looking forward to releasing new and exciting features to our iOS app.
