There’s an openHAB 3.4.5 release now in which the zip validation is disabled by default:

Even though openHAB 4 is now out, we are still taking care of our openHAB 3.4 users - we just created a patch release with a few updates to make openHAB 3.4 continue to run smoothly. A few cloud APIs had changed, which made adaptions to our bindings necessary. Please check out the release notes of openHAB 3.4.5 on GitHub!
