Updated to the latest official app from PlayStore.
Each notification received causes the app (latest 2.4) to crash and close.
If opening the Notifications log menu option I can see the notifications were received by the app.
Stock Android Orea 8 on Samsung S8.
Was working good with previous official app version.

This is frustrating. The app seems to be broken (with the added slow remote access bug).
How can I go back to the previous app version?

can you capture a log of the crash on your phone (https://github.com/openhab/openhab-android/issues/1090#issuecomment-438436787)? I cannot reproduce this and thus it’s hard to fix.
To downgrade the app, you have to uninstall it and install the older version from github.
The slow remote access is an issue of myopenhab, see Remote Access is slow
Solved in 2.4.2 Beta.
