Openhab shows wrong state of zwave dimmer

So I was creating a switch for a dimmer so I could turn it fully on or off. The switch works fine, the lamp goes fully on and off as expected but after being turned off using the switch the associated dimmer shows the lamp at 49%.

While I can’t be sure, looking at the zwave signals being sent back and forth it appears that sometime after the sendCommand(0) is sent, Openhab requests the current state of the dimmer which at that time has only lowered to 49% and so incorrectly thinks the dimmer did not finish dimming.

Is this an easily solvable problem?

Try setting the repoll period to something a little longer - maybe 4 seconds or something as it’s 1.5 seconds I think by default, and that doesn’t appear to be enough. This will give the light time to change value - I guess you might have the lights set to dim slowly?
