I want to connect my Sonoff SNZB-02 to my open hab system. i tried to do it via the ZigBee Binding and it does detect the device but only as an Generic Device and then it is offline without any Channels. in the docu it sais that it would be compatible. could someone please help me?
Hi,
Welcome to the community!
Yes, it is compatible.
I have 3 of them connected and using the zigbee binding.
It does take a few minutes to fully learn the device so be patient.
You may have to rediscover it a few times also.
Check your event log to follow its progress
It is a battery operated device so it does not reply as quick as a mains powered device.
Mine also show as a generic device but under the info you will see info like this

You may also consider using zigbee2mqtt if you have some of the other devices that are not zigbee standard (this one is btw)
but most that are branded as tuya or other low cost knock off brands are not and the best way for you to implement them is the zigbee2mqtt approach.
