OpenHAB3 - ESP Easy Mega - DS18b20 - Temperatures via MQTT

Hi,

I am trying now since hours but I don´t get the temperatures in OPENHAP. I see “NULL” only.
Can anyone guide me with the settings?

Use MQTT Explorer to check the messages. Search for ‘Starkvind’ here on the forum for a worked example.

You also need to enable the 2nd controller send in your ESP_DEVICES page…right now, you only have it enabled to send to the #1 controller (ThingSpeak).

MQTT Explorer is definitely the best thing to use - once you see the data value you want in there, just copy the MQTT path from there, into the “MQTT State” topic in your OH config.

  • enabled the 2nd controller
  • used MQTT Explorer to find the state
