friend has a way to install openhamian on usb or hhd external?
I used the openhabian configuration mode to move root to usb, but I do not like it because it always needs sd card.
I followed this question
starting directly from the command via ssh console
echo program_usb_boot_mode = 1 | sudo tee -a /boot/config.txt
since openhabian is based on raspbian …
By checking the command $ vcgencmd otp_dump | grep 17:
returning 17: 3020000a
I also looked in the /boot/config.txt file and the line program_usb_boot_mode = 1 was present.
Done this I started PI3 without sd card with USB inserted but nothing left.
Please someone who gives me a tip, the sd cards are easily damaged
