Openhabian WinSCP/ssh root access

Hello Altogether,

I just installed Openhabian. Installation is quite easy and run through.

Now I am at a point that I connect with WinSCP to my raspberry;
User and password: openhabian

But I am not able to copy for example my old mosquitto configuration file to the new installation.
I do not have the permission.

So my question is: What can I do? Another user?

Hey guys, not having permissions to do something is a pretty normal situation. The solution is always the same: Check the active permissions, then correct or work around them. Which user are you accessing the system with? Who is the file/folder you are trying to access owned by? Does your user have the correct permissions to read and/or write the location you are interested in? Hello;
I use openhabian on my rpi and with my windows pc and WinSCP I would like to access (read only) to different datas from my rpi, for example the *.ini file.
I get allways the error: "Permission denied’.
I tried this: Permission denied (openhab2, winSCP)
I would like only open the file as sudo.
Has someone an idea how can I open the files?
The second step is to modify and save some files, for example a *.ini file?
How can I do it?
Unfortunately, I won’t be able to make it :-/
