[SOLVED] Panel Migration

When migrating an openhab installation from one host to another, where are the server stored panels kept so i can copy them over?

They don’t come across in the openhab2 backup/restore…

They are stored somewhere in $OH_HOME/userdata/config I think. And I beleive openhab-cli backup and restore does copy it over. Are you sure you set up your HABPanel to save to the server? By default it only gets saved on the client (i.e. only the web browser where you created it). You have to tell it to save to the server.

They’re stored in openhab2-userdata\config\org\openhab\habpanel.config

If you are only using a local config, you just need to scroll to the bottom of the HABpanel settings page and select “Save the current configuration to a new panel configuration” to save your current panel on the server.

Hi. Thanks @rlkoshak

What I didn’t realise (And should have) is that accessing a new host only shows you what you have stored LOCALLY for that host… So of course I got a blank screen

Going to the setup and looking at whats installed on the server, I can then see the configs.
