PaperUI not setting association groups for Aeotec Door / Window Sensor 7

HIi all,

I have an Aeotec Door / Window Sensor 7. ZWA008

Device shows as online in PaperUI

PaperUI correctly detected all channels according to the docs.

I can change the configuration parameters when I edit the device, however Association groups would not stick.

I can see that PaperUI correctly sends the config data:

I am running OpenHAB 2.5 Snapshot and the zwave binding that comes with it.

I’ve also tried to set it up via habmin to no avail.

I’ve checked and the device is in the database, and association groups are correctly outlined both by the Zwave device database and by Aeotec’s docs.

Am I doing something wrong, or is there something that I am missing out?

Chris’s request for the xml file of the device, I see there is no such file for node_15 in my zwave directory.

So it must be something wrong there.

The ZWA008 is a fairly new device, you need to use the latest 2.5 snapshot zwave binding:

I did use the latest snapshot. Problem was that the device was not close enough to the controller.

The device when 50cm away did not pair correctly. When 2cm away, all went good and the sensor is working as advertised.
