I use JDBC as persistence database for Openhab. I noticed that the storage amount increases relativ repidly. I have about 30 or so items with short update times.
How it is possible to limit the storage space or the time how long the data is stored?
You will have to implement some script or program to run periodically to clean up the database. When using an external database the assumption is that you know when/if the data should be cleared.
