Persistence service for InfluxDB with a specific storage period of 1 day or 1 week

I would like to save values with a short cycle time (with finite history) for a day or a week.

And then delete it automatically. I use InfluxDB.

I don’t (yet) have a solution to my question.

It is actually about the gradual compression of the data. Currently I am interested in fine resolution, later this fine resolution is no longer so interesting.
