Philips Hue Lamps?

Hello
I would like to bind the Hue Lamps, found this
Bind Hue
but can not follow the bind of the Hue bridge to openHAB, do not get a message during start up?
Thanks in advance.

  • I need the binding - file, but I do not understand Github… I am finding so many different files, do not get the point… ??

The binding is at the same place where all bindings are: in the addon zip.

Hi
Yes I found it, sometimes you can not see the tree in the forest…
ok, copied the binding into openhab/addons folder, restart of the PI
Hmm, how can I see the Logging of openHAB on the Pi ?
Pressing the button on the Hue bridge still nothing.
Richard

I can see in the openhab.log that there was a asking for the button on the Hue bridge.
How can I see on the PI monitor, what happens in the log, when is it asking for the button ?

Why are you asking if you know where to look? :astonished:

NO, sorry you don’t understand.

I can not see the osgi-console on the pi, I can just open the log file manually.
-> can not see the question from the binding - press the button.

But, I already solved it.

  • deleting the binding file
  • stopping runtime of openhab on the pi
  • starting runtime of openhab on the pi -> now I can see the Logging
  • copy the binding file -> binding code starts
  • now I can see the question for the button -> pressed and it works now.

I did’t ready that the binding just works once. Had no visual logging on the Pi, so a little bit tricky for a beginner.

Still the question how can I see (open) the osgi-console ?

PS: I do not delete written words - then everyone can see my step or conclusions I made

That is good, but it is not good if you just edit your old post!
That is confusing.
You should edit a post when you have made a typo error or pasted a wrong link.
If you want to add information just open a new post in your existing thread and quote the part you are referring to.

aren’t these post normaly merged, always different between forums
normaly I do a hash in front, 2 hashes next and so on
but in this forum:
#hash has a code behind here…
