I’m buying a Visonic powermax pro system and I would to add it to openhab.
I’m reading that all of you are using a serial connection and not the ip connection… it’s because the ip connection have problems with openhab? or what else?

The serial connection works perfectly so I never saw the need to try anything else! I have the IP board somewhere but haven’t touched it in years - truly a horrible bit of kit!
