Problems with opening openHAB after uprgrading to version 2.5.6

  • Platform information: Raspberry pi 3
    • OS: Raspbin 10 buster
    • Java Runtime Environment: don´t know how to find out
    • openHAB version:2.5.6
  • Issue of the topic: IU just updated my Rapsberry Pi 3 some days ago (sudo apt-get update and sudo apt-get upgrade. OpenHAB 2.5.6 was installed. After rebooting the RPi, the OpenHAB App on my smartphone showed no data and when I open the ip:8080 the openHAB logo shows up with the message: “Please wait while the ui is being created. This can take a few minutes” (I just translated it from German. But I receive this message even after some days. So I think, that there ist something broken in my installation and I am wondering how to fix this.

Does anyone has some tipps for me how to get it back working?

Hi Oliver,

try restarting openHAB again. This is often required after an upgrade.

I already did that several times, but still nothing happens.

Did you restart or reboot? Also try stopping OH, cleaning the cache then a few restarts.

I rebooted the Pi. Did not know, that there is a difference.

How do I clear the cache?
